I only spent a few minutes looking at their software, it looked like all that it could do was trimming the endpoints. The software I am using for the overlays is DashWare by ChaseCam, but other people have also made their own. For the editing of the videos I've been using Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum.

FWIW, you won't feel bad buying either a gopro hd or a contour hd, but there are a few difference you really want to research before biting the bullet.
The contour is a less obtrusive, but the gopro supposedly has better sound.
