As someone who rode a "road bike" for about 40 years, I can certainly understand what's to like about them. They are fast, easy to pedal, easy to go far quickly, are more nimble than they look, decend really fast, climb well, and are fun to ride. I certainly won't denigrate anyone who likes them.

If physical limitations would allow, I'd still have one in my stable - but I really love my Hybrid, for everyday use - it's a peach, and would still be my favorite to ride.

Shoulda bought it sooner.
