No, not an oddball. I wasn't sure if I should go platform or clipless. I have the M324 platform/clipless combo on another bike but not sure if I should go that route again or what. Sometimes I take the bike for a quick spin to do errands and having my bike shoes on to do that is a pain. But then I don't like the bulkiness of mtb platforms.
