They may convert some of that area to motorcycle parking, but it sounds like they're just going to kick the motorcyclists out.

At my workplace, the bike rack is on the sidewalk and motorcycles have their own spots. Sometimes, cars park in the motorcycle spots and the motorcyclists raise perfect hell. I know I did when I was a motorcyclist.
