Bentley6...I have much the same set up as you on the front, but without the tie-in.
would you post more photos of the connection? Looks like it makes both racks stronger.
I've only got one more pic of it now but I can get a close up later if you're interested. I did repaint the Nashbar rack to match the Delta's. The connector did not have to be twisted but that actually helped get the two racks lined up and even. I said before that I tapped the top bolt of the connector out but actually I just drilled it out and inserted a bolt, washers and nut.
