I love my riding too much to increase the chance of accidents.. Today, I was at the bike shop where cyclists often congregate to talk about our rides..
. Our racer types had an accident on the decent two weekends ago... .. Racing down the hill at 30 plus mph three cyclists ran into one another.. Two are off work , one wearing a sling and the other an upper body immobilizer . The second had fractured his breast bone.. Sipping down their coffee, it sounded like stories from a nursing home..
Somewhat slower rides to me enhances safety . At least that is my hope..
