I have had my Silca pump since 1976 and have never had a problem.... I have changed the leather washer about every 5 or 6 years, and replaced the gage and hose for the 1st time last year.......
If you buy a Silca, it will be the last pump you have to buy.......... and while I am sure there will be lots of people on this forum that will tell you this pump or that pump is better than a Silca, I would like to see another brand pump that is still working like the day it was new after 34 years like my Silca.
