Depending on the situation and the players involved (like in my story), the gift of a win is considered an insult. I took the higher ground and dealt a deeper blow by letting them think they beat me. Passing me, thinking I'm impressed by the glistening guad and color show, then allowing me to close like that... trust me, those gifts were a slap in their faces.
