1978 Trek TX300 before and after
I found this Trek on craigslist a few months ago and thought it might fit me a bit better than the Specialized Crossroads I was using as my commuter. It's at the low end of Trek's lineup and fairly beat up, so I wouldn't be too concerned about leaving it locked up outside my office. I cleaned it up, touched up some of the chipped paint, added a set of Panaracer Paselas, new cables, and the funky confetti tape.

On the to-do list are a saddle (borrowed this one from a Panasonic PT 3500 that I picked up recently,) set of fenders, though there's not much clearance with these chunky tires. I'd like to restring the Fiamme rims with stainless spokes, and the Sunshine hubs would look great with a polish.

I rides nicely for a high-ten frame, and I love the Suntour drivetrain!
