You're right, and the operative word is should. It would be nice, and easier for everyone if posters were more thorough in describing what they want instead of making us shoot in the dark, but I guess that after 40 years of dealing with peoples mechanical problems, I'm more used to it and have lower expectations.
BTW- it would also be nicer if folks did a bit of research before posting in the first place, but that won't change either.
I've dealt with people's software problems for no-where as long, so I do understand where you are coming from.
But how people present their problems is another problem try to solve!
Note that all that I expect is just some
small effort. "little gearing issues" is no effort at all.
(In my job, all I want people to do is just send the error message they are reading!)
