compliments

I have heard stories of people asking how you ride that thing, or how you get up hills, or how you brake (for those of you who ride brakeless) or whatever, but what amazing compliments have you gotten?

Yesterday, only day three of my new commuting to work with the Pista, I was in the left lane at a stoplight waiting to turn left and a guy pulled up next to me. I think he checked me out, and then checked my bike out, and yelled "Hey," to get my attention.

I looked over and he asked me what it meant that I only had one gear. "It means I don't ever shift gears," I said, "and this particular gear means I don't ever coast, I don't ever stop pedaling."

He just looked at me and said, "Daaaaaaaaaaamn." really low. It was great.
