Got out for a ride today, took the MTB and parked at the Rice Creek trail head on SR100 near Palatka. I rode around there for a little bit then decided to go ride on the PLB trail again. I rode about 8 miles north on the trail and turned around and rode about 4 miles back on the trail. At that point I was just getting way to hot so I decided to ride SR100 the rest of the way back to the car. I went through almost both bottles of water and was still feeling way to hot when I got back to the van. The yellow flies weren't as bad as last time on the trail that was a plus. Overall a really nice ride. I rode 17.71 miles. With about 13 on the trails.

LindaN ... How was the riding out by Rodman Dam? The friend that I have been riding with lately used to fish out there all the time and said we should go riding out there sometime. I have rode on the road leading to the dam a few times, but that's about it. I do ride the road bike to the north side of the bridge over the barge canal, where I turn around. I would go further sometimes but that bridge is kind of scary to ride over.. NO shoulder and always lots of BIG TRUCKS...
