Woo!
Just completed my first 20-mile ride. I was able to go 10 miles before taking a break for about 10 minutes to allow my butt to decompress. Did another 6 and took another short 3-5 minute breather then did the final 4 miles.
Did the whole thing in 1:28:07 for about a 13.6mph pace. Still a bit below my goal of keeping a 15mph pace but right now I don't care since I'm happy to have hit my goal of doing a 20 mile trip.
Next goal is a 50-mile trip though I think I'm really going to have to look for something besides the stock Trek seat for that. Not sure my butt can take it!
So now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go collapse in a corner somewhere.
