If you wait until the money order clears, or you cash it, other than that you are taking a risk. Example, you get a money order, you ship the goods, and the money order bounces.
When I am selling on Ebay, I specify PAYPAL only, and even with Paypal, they will tell you not to ship until they review/verify. This is protection..
