The "Apartment" when broken down is in a duffel that is about 10" x 20" and weighs about 15#. Now, the contents are another thing. But, I think I know where you are going with this, and actually, other then the gear box, which works for me as I have a pickup, everything could easily fit in a compact car.
My cot is awesome and huge and yet is 10" x 40" folded, and the big cushy chair is about half that size. My buddy has the same set up and drives a Honda Accord. If you want details, give me a shout. I have hundreds of night and thousands of miles of experience in this arena.

Thanks. Tom Stormcrowe suggested I try a futon pad for sleeping on car camping trips. A bigger tent would make getting in and out, the most difficult part of any camping trip, easier.
So much for me being an outdoorsman. :-)
