+1 While Philly is a really good market, it is not insane like Portland, OR or San Fran, where you see generic POS bikes going for $300 a pop.

In general, I have been able to get 50% to 100% premium on a touring bike versus a similar racing bike of the same vintage and manufacturer. Vintage touring bikes draw buyers from a larger geographic area, even when selling on C/L.

And realize that ebay does not guarantee a high price. I bought a nice 1983 Trek 620 last year in NOS condition last year on ebay for $113, and resold it locally on C/L a couple of weeks later for full market price.
