Build quality would probably be the same since millions of bikes are made in China for manufacturers all over the world. I think notions that they'd be better quality if they were made in the US is just jingoistic pot banging. They could be made better here for more or crappier here for less. Anyways, discuss!
I was under the impression that the higher quality metal frames coming from Asia were produced in Taiwan, and China had more of the market on higher quality carbon frames. Given that they're a company producing steel frames, I would think they'd go with Taiwanese production; but I could be wrong.
