what's the point when they don't make tape? these things are all being cannibalized as microphone preamps now.

besides, nothing sounds better than an Ampex 351, except an Ampex ATR-102 with tube recording amps.

it's all hard disk now. the wealthy aging rockers bought up all the 2" tape stock. I have a few cases of 1/2" for this machine that are sealed.
