80-100 is a pretty big range. If that's where people are, then that's where people are, but that doesn't necessarily mean that there is value in targeting a specific cadence, especially for new riders. Which isn't to say that increasing cadence may not be beneficial, but not just for the sake of increasing it or hitting an arbitrary number.
