Nice bike, tarwheel. I haven't been able to ride my road bike recently due firstly to required maintenance, and then to bad weather. It's been nice to reacquaint myself with my old commuter, but I'm still anxious to get back to the speed and agility of the road bike.

No rain this morning, but the gravel trails were pretty soupy from the rain yesterday and last night. I felt really slow today. Saw a sidewalk cyclist just about get nailed in an intersection by a right-turning car, but the driver managed to slam on his brakes and stop in time. Saw the driver shaking his head as he drove away. Gotta say, I'm with the driver on that one.
