Left late on the ride home yesterday. Man, did it make a difference. The trail was a bit congested, and I had a couple close calls. A pedestrian bolted in front of me, and now I know that instead of saying "watch out!" I say "eeep eeep eeep eeep eeep" in a really high pitched voice. Danger siren? Glad I had my brakes replaced recently, because I stopped just inches behind her. Her friend scolded her, "you can't zig-zag on the bike lane! There are bikes!"

This morning I did not ride, as I have an interview later today and I don't want to be all sweaty. So I took the train instead. I might do some riding this evening to make up for it.
