This morning's commute was insanely nice. I'm still digging the trekking bars in a big way, especially riding into that headwind this AM.

Much cooler and drier than last week, better than yesterday even. I usually use my Topeak EXP rack trunk w/ fold-down panners for commuting, but I got a set of Axiom Lasalles over the weekend as a birthday gift. I wanted/want them for touring use, as I expect the trunk rack to still do most of my commuting duty, but the new panniers were just begging me for a trial run to the office today, so I threw my things into them and did my first ride w/ my new Axiom LaSalles on the back instead of the trunk rack... so it's Axiom first rides all over the place!

They passed the test of this AM's commute. I like 'em! Now to throw a LOT more stuff in them, strap a tent to the top of the rack and do some overnights! :-)
