These guys are being so mean to you. There's no harm done whatsoever from leaving it out in fair weather for one night. You don't need to go and have the bearings repacked, and you can save those new cables and housing for later, when you really need them. Is this a new bike? What kind of bike is it? Does it shift well and work okay? If you are having any specific mechanical problems, go to the Bicycle Mechanics forum and post some questions there. Don't worry about it so much, bikes are meant to be very durable.
