Bikes: Upright and Recumbent....too many to list, mostly Vintage.

2 things for me.

L'Eroica. The 126mile course. I just want to do it sometime before I drop dead...it would be a life accomplishment equal for me to summiting K2.

(this next one might happen sooner than I think)

I want to ride in Ireland and Wales. Like a weeklong tour of the rolling hills and dales and the Welsh ayre..

in N.America I'd really like to ride the mountain passes in Lake Tahoe. The roads are actually kept in quite good conditio. Specifically I want to ride Kingsbury Grade and I want to ride through the Eldorado Nat'l Forest on Route 50. I snowboard out in Tahoe about once a year and I always find myself stuck in a rental car on those roads wishing with all my heart for my bike.

I guess my interests are pretty similar to Jan's, as I simply loooove hills. What goes up get to come back down again amirite? Jan I totally agree that the Alps would be incredible for riding. I've been to the Italian Alps a few times and the roads there look amazing, although the crazy Italian drivers might be the death of me.
