I'd like to add one thing. I don't think it's wise to rush to judgement about another poster on the basis of one thread or even on a single post.

Several years ago I became absolutely livid at Denver based upon a single post. I realize today that my anger was based upon a misunderstanding and that Denver is, in fact, a good guy. It's certainly possible to disagree with another poster based upon a single post or thread. We aren't even supposed to agree about everything. Before forming an opinion about another poster, however, I think that it's good to hang around for long enough to consider the totality of their contributions.
