Resting pulse can vary during the day; mine can be as low as 49, but if i've had a big lunch, a few cups of coffee, and I'm slightly dehydrated, it can be up around 60 to 65, even if I sit still for 10 minutes.
I get the lowest reading late at night when I'm about to go to sleep. I find i'm a bit too startled in the morning to get an accurate reading.

Having said that, maximum and minimum heart rates do vary from person to person. There was another thread which also listed max HR, and the figures ranged from the high 170s to the low 200s

If you do a search, you should find plently of other threads on heart rates
