For the non-insightful comments, thank you for those as well. They gave me something to do, and I did enjoy reading them even if they weren't as helpful as the others.

I ended up getting a Streamline helmet for $50. It was originally $60, but I got the discount for being part of the bike coalition group. I just went to the bike shop (a different one with a bigger helmet selection) and tried on all the ones they had.
