My initial thought on putting it in a jersey pocket: man, I wouldn't want to fall on it - that might hurt. I guess that falling usually hurts, but it's not something I've experienced in a decade... in any event, it's 9" long, but if it fits, I think that it would be fine - it's light (lighter than an iPhone, for reference) to the point that I wouldn't worry about the mass of it bouncing around (or out). FYI, I don't think that any of the Lezyne pumps take up a bottle slot when mounted.
