Actually, Dallas isn't such far drive from my mother's home, and I may plan to do just that if I visit. I've done it for a motorcycle and a car before, so it could be worthwhile. However, I'm starting to turn stones by searching yard/garage sales here. Slowly but surely I'm finding better bikes...but none of them have been what I'm looking for.
