Odd-Size, Vintage Cinelli Bars?

OK, I suppose the first comment is that they are all odd-sized ...

Anyway, here's what I have: what seem to be "vintage" Cinelli Campione del Mondo 66 handlebars.

I tried to get a closer picture of the logos, but could not get anything in focus. To describe them, the logo on the bike's right side is a knight in armor partially covered by a shield bearing the words "Cinelli" and "Milano." The logo on the left side of the bike are the words "Mod. Campione del Mondo" surrounded by winner's laurels (wreath-like boughs) tied together at the bottom.

I have no way of confirming the age exactly, but they were pulled from the thrift shop find described at:

http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...ian-Road-Racer

Based on the steel Campagnolo sport crankset on the bike and other factors, I believe this bike to date to the early 70s. I assume - but of course don't know - that the bar would date to the same period. The stem on the bike - also Cinelli - uses the small oval "Cinelli - Milano" logo, if that's any help.

Here's my conundrum:

The bar clamp area measures 26.0 mm (or perhaps even 25.9 mm). I thought that pre-1998 Cinelli bars used a 26.4 mm clamp diameter.

Also, the width of the bar seems to be about 41 CM, center to center. Given that the bar is (was?) made in 40, 42 and 44 cm widths, this does not compute. To my untrained eye, there's no indication that the bar has been bent. To confirm this latter point, I have taken some measurements (such as bar ends to center of clamp area), which suggest no unusual bends.

I saw one fellow on the web (from the Netherlands) who indicated that he has "410 mm" Campione del Mondo 66 bars (on a Dutch "Union" bike from the 1970s), but it's the only reference that I have seen to this width.

Any ideas or observations would be appreciated. Thanks.
