Hi all,

New wheel, new tube, new tire. Everything's loaded, and I'm sure there are no twists, etc. in the tube.

I'm always getting some weird irregularity or flat spot in the tire once it's pumped up. It would seem to me that it's something to do with ensuring the bead is evenly set on the wheel.

I'm slightly relieved to know that it's not necessarily anything wrong with the tire, because after various attempts at fixing the problem I found it had reappeared in a new place. But the problem remains nonetheless.

Is this about getting the tire bead uniformly on the wheel, or what? Anyone else familiar with this problem?

(tire is a Specialized Armadillo btw)
