yes that email did alarm me. no I did not know they had an onsite converter.

I did not give customs a thought, but in the future just for this reason I will always keep an initial order with anyone under $100.
thanks for all the great feedback, links and help. I cancelled my order and as a sign of good faith only ordered one saddle and pump guage.
for $5 more I like the shiny brown saddle at wiggle rather than the antique brown.
