Many US based shops ask for a lot more than that for orders shipped outside of the US. One major cycling webshop asked for a copy of both sides of my credit card and a copy of my passport or drivers licenses. Um, no. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere.

If you really want to buy from SJS (I'd avoid Chain Reaction whatever you do. Check out the multiple threads on them.) give them a call via Skype. I found them to be extremely helpful on the phone.
