Well, that bums me a little, but not entirely. I'm buying it because I think it will ride well and the fact that it might be repainted won't take away from that. I'm no expert, particularly about Bianchis, but given the characteristics of the frame (the "B" stamps, the fork crown appearance regardless of the chrome, the seat stays, the lugs) is there any doubt that this can be identified as a top of the line frame from the late 70's/early 80's? I'm working on getting the serial number and possibly a picture of the BB. Thanks for all the input.
