The first thing I would check is that your wheel dishing is correct. I'm assuming you have vertical drop-outs, on a 2007 model it's almost a guaranteed thing. A quick check would be to borrow another wheel and see if sits correctly centered. If it's not the wheel, then sounds like a drop-out alignment issue.
