It's a cute idea, but it's a fiction. We all judge others in myriad ways in all aspects of our lives. You did it in your last post. We judge pros as better than us. We judge our neighbors, politicians, those who make more or less money than us... It goes on and on.

Some people who feel superior, for whatever reason, tend to want to project those feelings onto the others. Whereas most of the "others" have no concern about being superior to anybody . . . they just want to do their own thing. The so-called "Fred" is a perfect example . . . they don't give a DAMN about the typical roadie conventions of attire, style, or protocol. They just ride along, minding their own business. Everybody else should just do the same.
