Nope...I just don't buy bike from a crook. The key is patience. Keep about $50 cash in your wallet. Best deal is garage sale @ an expensive or well-established neighborhood. Strike a good conversation with the seller. Also wait till the end of the day where the owner is more likely to unload the bike at any price.

Too much visibility at CL, Fleabay, or this site.
