I'll toss in my useless opinion.

I rented a Roubaix Elite earlier this month and got about 200 miles on it. I thought it was way too comfortable. When you test ride bikes with more aggressive geometry, you should be able to decide whether that level of comfort is what you're looking for in a bike.
