My Scott Addict started out feeling stiff to me, now I love the friggin bike. At times the S2 feels downright plush. But never mushy. Well, OK, sometimes maybe a little mushy.

I've owned aluminum and steel. I've been riding a magnesium frame for the last couple years contemplating a future move to carbon. It's actually been a few years of contemplating because I don't think it'll be a substantial enough upgrade to justify the cost. I love my bike, but the grass is always greener. And Excel is around the corner. And my wife tolerates me.

$1500 for uber thin seatstays seems ridiculous. Especially if at 175 lbs (my current weight), it ends up being a mushy ride.
