You have a decent steel frame, and one that I'd stick with for commuting. If you ride a bike to work every day, on city streets, you run the risk of damage. Even a cosmetic top tube dent on a Cinelli frame would make me very sad.
Plus, for a commuter, I'd be inclined to run something with a drilled fork and a brake.
But, if you want a second bike for fun - I'd recommend the Vigorelli, of the two, simply because it's aluminium, so will give a quite different ride - moreso than another cromo frame with track geo, I expect.
