yes, carrying a camera totally changes how you ride. (it did or me anyway) makes you constantly scan / appreciate your surroundings while trying to find that perfect shot vs chasing down the white line

I did 28 miles yesterday... picked out a route looking at google maps, jotted down the turns I needed to make and headed out at about 5:30pm. It was a great ride, about 80% new roads but all in all within a 10mile radius of home. I live in a pretty small town and want to get to know all the back roads so I can make longer rides without going too far from home. After living here for almost 10 years you would think I would know them by now but there are only 2 or 3 roads I frequent and have never needed to go elsewhere...
