Bikes: Yes

I have a Timex and like it. It replaced a very old and basic Polar that is still working, FWIW.

I use 1-4 and sometimes 7 in your list. #5 is not accurate and totally useless.

Recovery Timer: When you stop the "Chrono" or manually start "Recovery" it will track your HR for 1 or 2 min (selectable) and display the drop in BPM during that minute. A good gauge of fitness, the bigger the drop the better.

But...

Training Zones: The Timex only times 1 zone, the one you have selected. It will not tell you how much time was spent in the other zones.

The chest strap on the Timex is small. If your chest is much bigger than 44" it will be tight. I don't know if a larger strap is available.
