Just an example of what I'm aiming for. Using a Nashbar front rack on the rear and Dakine goggle cases. It fits well. Still waiting for pannier hardware from J & D to modify the cases.

This setup will remove a couple pounds from my backpack. Such as tools, lock, 29er spare 'tube (8 oz.), etc.

Note: the cases do have vents on both ends, but I'm not concerned because I keep tools and such in zip lock bags.
