Yes, unless you're expecting to pay less than $30 or so, but I don't think anybody here is that cheap. Speaking of, the same sort of thing on the chain. The $30-40 KMC x-10 chain is more durable than higher end chains, and shifts well, it just weighs a little more. They designed it with durability in mind, so the outer links have thicker parts in the shape of an x, thus the name. It's supposed to resist stretching.

Edit: Not to say that you can find a 10 speed cassette for $30, but that the cassettes at that level still have all the features that make shifting smoother.
