Well, I'm just spinning up right now. Once I get back into shape, I might try racing but for now I want to keep on stretching my rides and pushing myself. I had an extremely bad 9not related to biking) injury a while back ago and am still recovering.
It looks like I don't need a new crank? With the old chain and the new one, when I downshift on the crank's gears (correct my terminology if incorrect), the chain will fall right off unless I'm in the middle of the gears on the cassette.
