Hmm...great stuff guys! The pics really did add a lot of flavor. Thank you to everyone that has responded so far (not that I don't hope people continue to tout their cheap-bike conquests).

Just to respond to a comment I'm seeing a lot of--I'm actually looking forward to getting dirty, replacing things, and building it up. It need not necessarily be ride ready, it would just be nice if it were. Regardless, the bike would be a project. I just don't want to buy a frame and make it up all by myself!
