Bikes: I have some bikes

Never found anything truly amazing, but I have a stumbled upon a few cheap and or free bikes.

I got this 80s Schwinn Sprint through a Craigslist ad in Indiana a couple years back. A foreign couple was selling their son's bike basically to get it out of the garage. 'Aske for $35,' the ad read. After a touch of haggling, I got it for $30 before finding a $40 Panasonic DX-1000 maybe a half hour later. This NEVER happens anymore. I also picked up an 80s 4130 CRMO Schwinn World Sport in black for $30 because the rear wheel was shot.

Since I own a shop, people sometimes dump their old bikes at our store or naively try to sell them to me. Most of them go to Working Bikes Cooperative in Chicago, and recently I gave one to Freewheelin Bikes coop in Indiana. Both are great causes run by great volunteers.

Some of the dumped bikes include:
Fuji Berkely
Ross Eurotour
Schwinn Typhoon
Schwinn Twinn tandem with 5-speed freewheel and giant drum brake
Schwinn Sprint
Schwinn Varsity
Recent Schwinn Frontier MTB
Raleigh Sports
Schwinn and Trek kid's bikes
horrible department store bikes
