Anything important to know about riding critical mass in Manhattan?

I'm a regular Atlanta (CM) rider and commuter so I'm assuming I'll be able to navigate NYC traffic. Any recommendations on proper etiquette(primarily with the police)?

Atlanta's CM has been police free for a few years, so it's a very relaxed fun ride. Any suggestions are appreciated.
