I switched from my preferred track bike to a geared bike w/ a rear rack for commuting during this heat wave. Gets the stuff I'm carrying off my back, lets me coast and gear down for hills, resulting in a more tolerable ride. Yesterday afternoon's ride home didn't seem bad at all, although it was ~95+ I think the humidity was down some.
