I keep piggybacking on tarwheel--and you're all probably tired of hearing about the heat--but here's my story. Want to know how hot it was yesterday and today? Despite pounding fluids all day and the high humidity, it was so hot the last two days that my contacts dried out on my eyes as I started riding. I had to keep blinking or keep one eye closed to keep them moist.

I compounded my stupidity today. I worked from home this morning, then rode over to the local park and played Ultimate at lunchtime, then rode to work after. I also left my water bottle at home and hadn't eaten enough for breakfast. I thought I was going to pass out.

As an added bonus, the a/c in the locker room is weak. I showered, tried to dry off, and then got dressed for work. When I hit my office the whole front of my shirt was soaking wet.
